Coeur d’Alene weekend

Jason and I headed to Coeur d’Alene last weekend. High school friends Miranda and Erin got to officially meet the mysterious fiance and hear all the drama of how we met and got engaged. We hung out with my mom and took a trek up to Sandpoint to visit her good friend, Marie, who made us fabulous appetizers and went out to dinner with us.

We also spent some quality time laying on the couch, making banana pancakes, and enjoying my mom’s cookies (although not all at the same time). Mom also gave us the official tour of all of her flowers, which looked beautiful.

One of the best parts was the car ride home. The sun came out and it was beautiful so we stopped on our way through the Gorge and enjoyed the view. It was so nice to talk for hours and just be together without interruptions. Of course we stopped at the DQ on the way home for a chocolate dip cone. And a new tradition – we bought buffalo jerky from a guy in a van on the side of the road. It was really good.

We didn’t take a ton of pictures, but you can view what we did take right here.

  2. Erika,

Yes we (being mostly me) have gone somewhat crazy with the posting. I’m a blogging geek. Anyway, you can subscribe to our content and get it directly in your inbox by clicking on “Subscribe to Our Blog by Email”. Or, if you don’t want to be routinely bothered by us, you can just check back to the site and see what we’ve been up to.
